01Why do static plans stop fitting?
A plan written once cannot know that a target became too easy, that you repeatedly missed it, or that progress has stalled. Carius preserves the structure of programming while allowing demonstrated performance to inform the next step.
02What does Carius use?
Your goal, experience, available equipment, schedule, completed load and reps, and reported reps in reserve provide context. The engine uses those signals to make deterministic—not random—programming decisions.
03What might adaptation look like?
If you repeatedly reach the top of a rep range at the intended effort, the next prescription can progress. If targets are repeatedly missed, blindly adding weight is not the answer. Across weeks, a plateau can justify a purposeful volume, exercise, or split adjustment.
